Guidelines for Students Under Temporary Prohibition from Entering Taiwan to Retain On-Campus Dormitory for Fall Semester 2020

  • Students under temporary prohibition from entering Taiwan that have successfully applied for an on-campus dorm

Please confirm your accommodation via the Student Housing online system within 7 days after the allocation result is announced. Accommodation fee for fall semester 2020 must be paid latest within the first week after school starts. Students who fail to pay on time would be considered giving up their rooms, which would automatically be allocated to other waiting students; but would be entitled to priority in getting rooms for the Spring Semester 2021.

  • Students under temporary prohibition from entering Taiwan that are already occupying an on-campus dorm
  1. Those who wish to retain their residency, please complete payment within the first week after school starts.
  2. Those who do not wish to retain their residency, please authorized another person to complete the check-out procedure (must provide letter of authorization). After clearing out the room and completing check-out, your deposit will be returned. You will be entitled to priority in getting rooms for the Spring Semester 2021.
  3. Those who do not complete the above will automatically retain their space and will be required to complete payment within the first week after school starts.

Those who do not complete payment and do not authorize others to complete check-out procedure, will be recorded in the system, thus unable to complete graduation process.

Notes: Those who choose to retain their dorm and complete payment may not ask for refund for the period of time in which they could not be accommodated.

Students who decide to check out in the middle of the semester must clear out their room and complete check-out procedure. The amount refunded will be calculated by weeks starting from the date they check-out.
